Here’s the deal: We know you’re sick and tired of the way that social media makes you feel. We also know that you might be beginning to realize that your compulsive engagement is starting to affect a whole bunch of other areas in your life and well-being.
Listen: we get it. We know exactly how that feels because we’ve been there. Together, in fact, as “content creator” and “social media manager” in partnership for over two years.
But luckily, we don’t live there anymore. Barely ever even visit, in fact. All while enjoying our personal and professional engagement online more than ever before. 🎉
If you’re desiring to become more sovereign and empowered to stand in your values and engage with embodied presence in virtual environments, we’ve got just the thing:
A brand new virtual workshop on how to develop + practice somatic LITERACY + media literacy as AN embodiment of your values online. ✨
Over the past few years, so many of us have come to see how critical it is to interact with clarity, self-trust and compassion in order to connect more effectively online. This workshop will help you develop the inner guidance system (rooted in your own values) that can successfully enable you to become fully self-expressed in online conversations, communities, and work while choosing to cultivate and contribute to an atmosphere of respect and collaboration.
In other words: we’re gonna give you the antidote to cancel culture and self-censorship at the same time. Seriously. You’ll learn how to take more self-responsibility for how (and how often) you show up while simultaneously learning the skills to engage with content more responsibility and other people more compassionately.
Why?
Because when we learn how to develop + practice somatic literacy and media literacy online, we learn how to be present and discerning with how we engage, what we share, and where we when we feel activated. We are more apt to think and take action with greater purpose and integrity, embracing the value of embodied learning, healthy dialogue and non-violent communication.
After years of showing up to our own personal and professional engagement feeling activated, exhausted, and out of control, we researched and practiced and played our way into a new practice, and we can teach you how to do it, too. So if you, too, know that the “old way” isn’t working, but don’t even really know what the “new way” could possibly be: we made this workshop for you!

Meet your hosts
Jamie Lee Finch (she/ her) is an embodiment coach, author, entrepreneur, and massage therapist in training. For the past 6 years of her professional work and public visibility, she has simultaneously increased her passion and advocacy for bodies + nervous systems while becoming increasingly concerned about the impact that our dependence upon social media is having on our somatic literacy and embodiment. As a self-identified recovering twitter bully + former online outrage cycle addict, her current passion is in communicating what she has learned about what happened to her brain and body through her years of unconscious + disembodied overuse of social media.
Erin Dorothea Beattie (she/they) is a freelance Social Media Director and copywriter currently based out of Portland, Oregon. For the past four years, she has had the privilege of working alongside sex educators, therapists, coaches, and entrepreneurs, helping them tell the stories of their businesses and offerings to the world. She also helped support online trainings and curriculum development after the pandemic migrated many businesses online in 2020. Erin studied journalism & communications in college and is passionate about media literacy and ethical communication/mindful marketing in our increasingly digital world. She has also served as Jamie’s (deeply valued and beloved!) social media manager since January 2021.
